All of our Limitless Youth Programs are welcome to youth ages 12-18 in the community. Our goal is to provide access to youth within Fort McMurray to skill building, inclusive, leadership and recreational programs that gives them the tools and confidence to become successful adults. We are constantly striving to mold with the needs of today’s youth and the Fort McMurray community so that we can reach as much youth as possible.

Flex Your Head
Positive Youth Development & Mental Health
Ages: 11-16
Time: Mondays from 6:45-8:00pm
Cost: FREE!
Start Date: April 12th, 2021
In-Club Programming
Flex Your Head was developed to help youth think about, talk about, and understand issues of mental health and wellness within a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. In an active, peer-based format, youth are given the knowledge, skills, and strategies to cope with stress and promote positive mental health. All while hanging with friends and engaging in some fun club activities! (Masks & Physical Distancing Mandatory)

Summer Youth Internship
For Youth age 14-18 years old
When: July & August
For any youth in our community interested in gaining valuable leadership skills & work experience, we hire interns between grade 9-12 to help out with our ZAP Kids Summer Camp & Limitless Youth Programs!

Money Made $imple
Ages: 10-14
Time: Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm
Start Date: April 8th, 2021 for 4 weeks REGISTRATION FULL!

Virtual Via Zoom
Many youth do not have access to financial literacy resources, which can leave them open to costly mistakes and missed opportunities. Our Money Made $imple program promotes financial responsibility amongst Boys and Girls Club youth by building their basic money management skills. The program will help youth gain useful knowledge and skills on various aspects of financial literacy, including budgeting, saving, spending, credit, credit card use, risks of online gambling, and planning for post-secondary education.

Boccia
For ages 7 years old and up
When: Per request
Currently on-hold due to Covid restrictions*
Boccia Ball is a Paralympic sport that can be played by anyone, regardless of age or ability! Boccia is a co-ed sport of control and accuracy, similar to curling or lawn bowling. It is a great way for students to practice focus and accuracy while also working on social skills such as teamwork, cooperation, and sportsmanship. The greatest part? We travel to YOU! If your school or organization is interested in playing Boccia, please email youth@fmbgc.ca.
Don’t have the space but have a group interested in playing? We can also host Boccia events at the Boys and Girls Club.

Go Rec It!
For Youth ages 10-14 years old
When: Every Wednesday evening from 6:45-8:00 PM
Currently on-hold due to Covid restrictions*
Cost: Free
Location: Boys & Girls Club of Fort McMurray – 20 Riedel Street Fort McMurray, AB T9H 3E1
Go Rec It! Is our youth program that is open to teens age 10-14. It is a FREE Drop-in event every Wednesday. This program offers board games, open gym, darts, laser tag and a climbing wall!
