Our Limitless Youth Programs are welcome to youth ages 10-18 in the community. Our goal is to provide youth in the Wood Buffalo region with opportunities that support their social, emotional, physical, and mental well-being. We offer a variety of recreational, skill-building, and leadership programs that give youth the tools and confidence to reach their full potential in life.

Go Rec It!

Go Rec It! Is our youth program that is open to youth ages 10-15. It is a FREE Drop-in event every Wednesday. This program offers board games, open gym, sports, art, laser tag and a climbing wall!

Youth Internship

Are you interested in gaining valuable leadership skills, work experience, and high-school volunteer hours? We are now accepting youth interns in grades 9-12 to help out with our ZAP Out-of-School Care and Limitless Youth programs. Interns will complete 35-hours (during afterschool and no-school days) and receive a gift, certificate of completion, and volunteer reference letter.

Keystone

Keystone is a leadership program for youth designed to help them overcome the experience and confidence gap that gets in the way of youth fulfilling their potential. Keystone gives youth a chance to gain skills, confidence, and connections as they plan and lead five or more service-learning initiatives and/or activities.

Every Monday from 6:30-8:30pm

Cook It Up

In this 6-week, hands-on cooking program, youth will gain the basic knowledge and skills to prepare healthy and delicious meals and make positive food choices. Youth will also gain friendships, confidence, and the experience of working as a team in a fun and interactive approach to cooking.

Ages: 11-16 years 
When: Every second Thursday for 6 weeks

Boccia Ball is a Paralympic sport that can be played by anyone, regardless of age or ability! Boccia is a co-ed sport of control and accuracy, similar to curling or lawn bowling. It is a great way for students to practice focus and accuracy while also working on social skills such as teamwork, cooperation, and sportsmanship. The greatest part? We travel to YOU! If your school or organization is interested in playing Boccia, please email hanna.gamblin@fmbgc.ca

Don’t have the space but have a group interested in playing? We can also host Boccia events at our Club location.

Launch your career with us from the comfort of your own home! Career Launch is a virtual pre-employment program that provides opportunities for youth to develop their pre-employment skills, align their interest with potential careers, access job hunting resources and explore a wide array of career options.

Keystone is a leadership program for youth designed to help them overcome the experience and confidence gap that gets in the way of youth fulfilling their potential. Keystone gives youth a chance to gain skills, confidence, and connections as they plan and lead five or more service-learning initiatives and/or activities.

Youth meet regularly to organize a series of leadership activities, discussions, projects, and events that help youth:

  • Enhance their leadership skills
  • Improve their self-esteem
  • Practice different leadership roles
  • Experience what it’s like to lead a series of projects
  • Reflect on their learning (through successes and challenges)

In an era of technology, ever wonder what it would be like to code your own creation? Join us for Kid Tech Nation! Kid Tech Nation is an 8-week technology program that teaches youth about coding concepts, digital skills, computational thinking, and internet safety.

Love taking a photo and ever wonder what it would take to be a photographer?  Join us for a four-week photography program. Partnering with Destiny Ezurs (Photography by Ezurs) learn different methods needed to get the perfect picture. Limited spaces available.

Love hands on experiences that allow you explore the world around you. engineering and mathematics with concepts of art, allowing youth to show their creativity and innovation.
